The Society of Physics Students (SPS) is a student-run organization that is open to students who have an interest in physics and astronomy. SPS provides its members with a peer group interested in professional development in STEM-related disciplines and generally encouraging an interest in physics throughout academic and local communities. Members of SPS meet each month to discuss all topics physics, education, and outreach. SPS members host periodic tutoring sessions for students in the introductory physics courses and organize fund-raising events.
